Who I Am
Hi! I'm Austin Greene, an incoming freshman at William & Mary. I've been immersed in website design and online content creation since 8th grade, and now, I'm excited to help others establish their online presence.
My journey began with Kids Tutor Kids, a business I launched during the COVID-19 pandemic to support students struggling with virtual learning. I built its website, and soon after, I created The NBA Blog, a personal platform for my NBA writing that I maintained for several years. While these early sites weren't masterpieces, they provided me with a fundamental understanding of website development.
My passion for writing, ignited by The NBA Blog, soon extended beyond the digital realm. It inspired me to write my first book, Overcoming Adversity: The 2010 NBA All-Stars, published under the pen name Tex Greene. This project solidified my love for long-form content creation.
Since then, I've continuously expanded my skillset in marketing and website design through hands-on experience and certifications. When I joined the Raleigh Firebirds as a team journalist during my freshman year, I quickly became their unofficial expert for web design and maintenance. I also had the opportunity to co-author their book, From The Ashes: The Story of the Raleigh Firebirds. This experience was invaluable, teaching me that the book-writing process doesn't have to be as long and drawn-out as my first endeavor. I've since refined my approach and have mastered the process of writing books for businesses, capable of creating a 30-100 page book for clients in under a month. This experience sparked my interest in freelancing, leading me to assist various individuals and businesses with their online needs.
After several years of freelancing, I'm now expanding my operations to launch Evergreene Solutions. While my primary focus is website creation and design, I also offer a comprehensive range of marketing services to help businesses thrive.
